Darsham is a quiet and attractive village just off the A12 and situated about 5 miles from the Suffolk Coast, making it an ideal base from which to explore this most picturesque and diverse area. Priory Farm is about 1 mile from Darsham Station which has frequent local train and bus services as well as regular Inter-City connections to London.

The local shopping facilities include a mini-market at the garage and a farm shop. There is also a well stocked village store and Post Office at Yoxford, only 2 miles away. The RSPB bird reserve at Minsmere and the National Trust site at Dunwich Heath are about 10 minutes by car.
